Supported ATI cards Quote: Find More Posts by Firebreather. Linux does support it via the Gatos project.
The time now is Im using this driver for months with my Pinnacle Card. The S-Video input won’t work though which isn’t an issue with folks with the VE. The only reason it only gets a 9 out of 10 in ease of use is because it didn’t automatically detect the correct tv tuner in my brooktreee and I had to manually set it. Could be wrong tho Since there trying to caphure older equipment to work in XP, I think the “installer” is suppose to get you winxows All i need are the drivers so i can hook up my 8mm camcorder to video conference using msn messenger. The new version is also lighter. I can tell you that Intel has not created any drivers or updates for this product since earlyso there are no XP drivers or XP software available.
If anyone can get this driver to work on an AIW, I would be impressed since it is impossible.
Intel no longer supports their product and is shall i say less than cooperative in answering the simple question since you no longer support your product is there anybody who does? You might want to start looking for a XP compatible capture card.
I am new to this website and not sure if posting this question here is the right place to post but i have an Intel smart video recorder III which is a video capture card.
